We obtain personal data directly from you. You provide it to us by writing to our e-mail address on the website, as well as by providing it to us for the purpose of performing transport, forwarding and consulting services for you in all matters related to transport, logistics, forwarding, as well as in customs matters and formalities related to commercial regulations in land, air and sea transport.

The Controller’s business activity consists in providing transport and forwarding services and consulting on all matters related to transport, logistics, forwarding, as well as customs matters and formalities related to trade regulations in land, sea and air transport. Personal data is processed for various purposes, to varying degrees and on different legal bases specified in the GDPR. The period of storage of personal data also varies. In order to provide you with the most transparent information possible, we have grouped this information according to the purpose of processing your personal data.

For this purpose, personal data is processed mainly in order to conclude an agreement with new customers and to be able to provide services to them. Scope of data. In order to conclude an agreement, mainly personal data contained in agreement recitals is processed, such as first name, surname, e-mail address, PESEL (Personal Identification Number), NIP (Tax Identification Number), address of residence, address of registered office, address of permanent place of business, telephone number, as well as the first name, surname and position of the Controller’s Customer’s employees/associates who contact the Controller, business correspondence address, business e-mail address and business telephone number, data concerning the working time records of the Controller’s Customer’s employees/associates, personal data resulting from the consignment note or other agreed document provided by the Customer for the purpose of fulfilling the order, contact details resulting from the place of dispatch and place of delivery of the goods. Legal basis. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, i.e. processing is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which the data subject is party. Duration of personal data processing. Personal data will be processed for the duration of the Agreement between the Parties or, alternatively, until the expiry of mutual claims.

In order to provide transport and forwarding services and advice on all matters related to transport, logistics, forwarding, as well as customs matters and formalities related to commercial regulations in land, sea and air transport, we process the following personal data: name, surname and position of the Controller’s Customer’s employees/associates who contact the Controller, business mailing address, business e-mail address and business telephone number, data concerning the working time records of the Controller’s Customer’s employees/associates, personal data resulting from the consignment note or other agreed document provided by the Customer for the purpose of executing the order, contact details resulting from the place of dispatch and place of delivery of the goods, legal basis. Personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, i.e. processing is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into the agreement.

Duration of personal data processing

The personal data of our customers’ representatives and their employees/associates will be stored for the duration of our business relationship and after its termination, if there are reasonable grounds to believe that the relationship will be resumed or until any claims expire.

Transferring transport orders to carriers for fulfilment

For this purpose, personal data is processed mainly in order to: be able to provide transport services to customers of Artekto sp.z o.o. in situations where the Controller does not provide transport services itself.
